Training Manual on IWRM |

WWI jointly with UNESCO and
FAO is documenting cases for an IWRM Resource Kit /trainers manual to
bring clarity on various concepts, definitions and framework of IWRM in
various places on the ground. The Resource Kit will attempt to translate
various academic discussions around the different issues of IWRM into easy
to understand concepts through illustrations and flow charts. The kit will
be launched at the World Water Forum in Mexico during March 2006. |

Following the division of Madhya Pradesh state in 2000, the newly formed state of Chhattisgarh inherited about 1000 Water User Associations, and continued to use the Madhya Pradesh PIM Act. Over the past three years, experience with PIM in the state has demonstrated the need to reform this Act specifically to address the unique conditions in the State.
