The International Learning Workshop on Demand Based Management of Groundwater was organized by FAO, WWI and Bharathi Integrated Rural Development Society (BIRDS) between 30th July and 10th August 2007 in Andhra Pradesh Sixteen participants from Asian, African and South American countries such as Iran, Yemen, Thailand, Myanmar, Bhutan, Philippines, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Brazil attended the workshop.
